Learning Links for Mrs. Youmans' Class
I know some of us are not wizards when it comes to computers and sometimes we get frustrated. However, here are some user-friendly websites that may come in handy to help you assist with your child's education. Enjoy and again, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. FYI- some of these websites might be free on desktops/laptops ONLY, NOT Ipads/tablets.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! PLEASE READ REGARDING YOUR CHILD'S GRADES:
Infinite Campus has created two new apps: Campus Student (for students) and Campus Parent (for parents). These apps provide real-time access to grades, assignments, attendance, schedules, announcements and more. The apps are available for download in the App Store and Google Play. If you had Infinite Campus previously, please ensure that you download the new app soon as the old app will no longer be supported.
If you already have an account, but don't remember your username or password click on Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? Enter your e-mail account or username respectively to receive your information in a separate e-mail. Please click on HELP button (panel to Left) for additional instructions.
After 3 unsuccessful attempts, your parent account will be disabled until you contact your child's School Administrative Office.
To create your parent account: First get your Infinite Campus GUID Activation Code by clicking on this IC Parent Account Info link and enter in the necessary information. Once you receive it, follow the instructions to create your parent account.
The country's current state of emergency is no doubt placing a lot of financial and emotional stress on many families. This link proivdes information for transportation for food delivery, food pantries, wi-fi resources, and senior citizen resources.

Offers student/parent resources for remote learning days. Great suggestions for activities and links to resources. You can also find additional learning packets (k-2).
Students will get teacher assigned books and take quizzes (not for all books). You will also have instant access to wonderful ebooks, learning videos, and more!

This site offers 3 free weeks of helping students exercise their brains and their bodies!! You can sign up for a membership for a monthly fee after your 3 week trial membership is done.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s award-winning children’s literacy website, Storyline Online, streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations. Readers include Viola Davis, Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Costner, Annette Bening, James Earl Jones, Betty White and dozens more.
This program reads stories aloud to children. It also asks questions at the end of the stories to check for comprehension.
