Mrs. Sarah Hinton
My name is Sarah Hinton and I am excited to be the part-time counselor at New Hope for the 2020-2021 school year. This will be my first year as a counselor and my first year at New Hope, but I have two years of work experience in Henry County Schools and I actually graduated from Union Grove High. I also completed my internship at Henry County Schools. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University in 2017 and my Masters in School Counseling from Mercer University in 2020.
I am happily married and we have four wonderful fur-babies. In my spare time, I enjoy making crafts, watching tv and going on adventures with my family. I was born and raised in Henry County, Georgia. I am so happy to be back in Henry County Schools and look forward to working with the students at New Hope Elementary. While Mrs. Miller and I are happy to assist any student in the school, I will primarily be working with Kindergarten and 4th grade this year. I look forward to getting to know the students and parents and hope we can make this the best year yet. While this year may look a little different, I am here to support the students with academic growth, social/emotional development, and career goals.
