Miss Courtney Bennett

Courtney Bennett is an Agriscience teacher at Eagle's Landing Middle School in Henry County. She teaching Exploring Agriculture for 6-8 grade that focus on areas in Agriculture such as, Basic Agriculture, FFA, Animal Science, Horticulture, Forestry/Wildlife, Agriscience, Natural Resources, Employability Skills, and Agriculture Mechanics/Engineering. At Eagle's Landing Middle, Bennett serves as the advisor for the National FFA Organization.

Born in New York, raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia, Bennett now lives in McDonough, GA with her energetically sweet cat, Kiasi. Before taking on the amazing career of being a teacher, Bennett was a veterinary assistant for 6 years at several veterinary clinics and hospitals fulfilling her passion of working with animals. Though she is now a teacher, Bennett loves to incorporate animals into many of her lessons/labs at ELMS, and is often referred to as "the teacher with all the animals in her classroom". Bennett strives to one day create a curriculum using emotional support animals to help strengthen the minds of her students.
