OMS Counseling Department Mission
-
The mission of Ola Middle School’s counseling program is to encourage each student to reach their academic, career and social/emotional potential. We believe that through student-focused and developmentally appropriate programs and activities, aligned through district expectations, students will acquire and apply the skills/knowledge needed to become advocates for their own success. Our efforts in these areas are a part of the 5-star service we offer in collaborating and fostering connections with our students, staff, parents, and community.
The Comprehensive Student Services Program is an integral part of the school's total program with a commitment to individual uniqueness, an understanding of multicultural diversity, and the maximum development of human potential. Our efforts in these areas are part of a creative collaboration among our students, parents and the community.
