Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Robert Stout

My teaching career began in 1995 through 2000 and continued in 2015.  I then worked three years in Florida before relocating to Georgia in the Summer of 2018.  Rock Spring Elementary has been my assigned school and am am thrilled to be here.

Being a lifelong learner is important to me.  I initially graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV with a B.B.A in Marketing in 1987.  I continued my college courses at the University of South Florida, working toward a bachelors in Specific Learning Disabilities from 1994 to 1998, but completed professional certification in Florida for Exceptional Student Education.  In July of 2021 I completed a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Thomas University with a reading endorsement.

I started my Army Reserve career in 1981 and retired in 2006 at the rank of Major after returning from a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq.

I have two adult sons who are each married and one granddaughter that was born in OCtober of 2019.  For fun, I enjoy biking, hiking, and swimming as well as watching college sports.
