Students are responsible for taking proper care of their Chromebooks. Students are required to bring their Chromebooks fully charged to school each day.
Agendas and Binders:
Students should keep their agenda in their binder and homework assignments should be written in the agenda each day. The binder is a great place to keep all of their homework and important information organized.
Please make sure that you have access to Infinite Campus and check it frequently. Your child’s assignments, tests, quizzes, etc. will be recorded and you will be able to see their current average in each subject.
Please send in $6.00 for Scholastic News. This is a valuable resource that will be used during reading instruction.
Please send a written note for any change of transportation with your child. We cannot accept Dojo Messages or emails for changes of transportation.
If your child is absent, please send a written excuse the day your child returns.

Please check your child’s homework each night. Your child will have homework Monday-Thursday of each week.

B = 89 - 80
C = 79 – 74
D = 73 – 70
F = 69 and below
Graded work/Weekly Report:
Graded work and weekly reports will go home each Monday in your child’s weekly folder. This is an opportunity to sit with your child and go over the work that was completed and help you to see any areas that might need improvement. Please remove all graded papers, sign the weekly report, and return the folder on Tuesday.

Mrs. Hayes and Mrs Hinton will be team teaching this year. Mrs. Hayes will teach Reading and Social Studies. Mrs. Hinton will teach Math and Science. We will both teach Writing and Grammar.
Fifth grade students are required to participate in the 4-H program. Students will participate in lessons from the 4-H representative and also complete a 4-H project. Information regarding the project will be communicated at a later date.
