    9:00 am Intro to Distance Learning (I will be going over how-tos, my expectations for this time, we will practice functions, and we will end with a question and answer session. If you cannot attend live, but have a question you want answered, please message me ahead of time so I can address it.)

    As time allows: Phonics Unit 10, Lesson 1, Day 2

    "I can hear the sounds for letters A, D, Z in words."

    Assignments:  Practice sight words-learn 5 a week!

    "I can hear the sounds for letters I and N."

    - St. Patrick's Day fun math!  Your child can use a dry erase marker and dry erase board to follow me or pencil and paper is fine too.

    "I can build addition and subtraction equations."

    - Reading Decodable Nat Ran

    "I can name Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How when I read a story."

     

    -Writing "How to Catch a Leprechaun-first, next, then, last sequence writing"

    "I can use sequencing when writing."

    Assignments: practice sight words in your binder-learn 5 words a week, complete  writing assignment and save to bring to school

    -Math HMH lesson 6.5 (have your math workbook page with you)  Page 163-168

    "I Can Represent Addition Using Mental Images."

    -Writing: reviewing handwriting

    Reading- Take Care of Your Teeth (have passage with you along with comprehension questions) 

    "I can read and answer comprehension questions."  Save and return when we come back to school.

    Science- Review of living/non-living

    "I can identify living and non-living things."

    Assignments: Comprehension Questions #1-4 for Take Care of Your Teeth (Parents this is a grade. Only read questions to them. Have them circle their own answers)

    Lesson 6.5 for Math, read decodable Nat Ran, complete Living/Nonliving Sort #3

    "I can represent subtraction using mental images."

    -Reading/Writing Take Care of Your Teeth re-reading and answering questions #5-7

    -Science Review Living/Nonliving Sort #4, Go on a walk to find living/nonliving 

    Assignments: Math wkbk 6.6, Take Care of Your Teeth Comprehension Questions #5-7 (Parents this is a grade)

    -Science Go over Nonliving/Living page, review criteria, possibly take test "Needs of Living Things" (parents please do not help with the test!)

    Assignments: Math Workbook 6.7, Complete writing activity taught in video, take test "Needs of Living Things" (Parents this is a grade), Read decodable Nat Ran, Sight Words
