As a graudate of Luella High School (Class of 2008), it is my distinct privilege to be able to work with a new generation of Luella Lions. There is nothing more important in today's soceity than preparing our children to be critical thinkers, capable of expressing themselves through both verbal and wriiten word. Being able to read, write, and think in a variety of ways will empower our students to face the challenges of the real world with more confidence, and having a voice will allow them to make a mark on the world as a unique individual. This is the task set before me as an English Educator. I welcome this challenge, and your partnership in ensuring that our students achieve at a high level and graduate from Luella High School College, Career, and Life ready.
Thank you for taking a moment to read some important information regarding details relevant to your child's education.

All students are expected to complete 40 minutes of Membean each week. Students are typically given 10-15 minutes of class time 3 days a week to complete this training. It is not intended to be homework, but all 40 minutes are due every Sunday night by 11:59 PM. The grade is then determined by accuracy: 55% is considered a passing grade for weekly accuracy, per English Department Consensus.
