    Name: Corey Fair
    School: Woodland High School
    Position: Band Director
    Principal: Dr. Shannon Ellis

Principal Ellis shared this about Corey:
Corey Fair is an awesome educator who brings a wealth of knowledge to our students. Mr. Fair was recently named the Band Director for Woodland High School this school year. He has a powerful presence both in and outside of the classroom. This school year the band has transformed into a positive, exciting program for all students involved. Mr. Fair had tremendous success this school year with our Marching Band performances. Mr. Fair puts in tireless hours to ensure that the students have an awesome experience with activities outside of school. The performance level of our students is out of this world- the Percussion Ensemble has been invited to perform at Georgia Music Educators Association and has been invited to the 2019 Music for All National Festival, presented by Yamaha. The level of excellence of the auditioning ensembles is phenomenal making the selection process ever more challenging. Mr. Fair and his assistant Band Director Mr. Chandler Dickerson have been amazing at providing our students with national exposure and the opportunity to compete at high levels. In addition, Mr. Fair has been able to secure the lead Drummer of Rascal Flatt, Jim Riley, to come to Woodland High School in January to meet and teach our students.
