     bright future Me

I am Renee' Williams, the 7th grade counselor.   Although we are beginning our school year in a very unique way, I am eager to begin working with our students again!

I have been a school counselor for the past 15 years.  Working as a school counselor has afforded me the opportunity to do what I love, which is to empower students as they prepare for a bright future.  I value my role as a student advocate and collaborator with faculty, staff, and parents to ensure students’ success.

On a more personal note, I was born in Jamaica but raised in Georgia. I attended Spelman College for my undergraduate studies and obtained a Master of Arts degree and a Doctorate of Education degree from Clark Atlanta University. My husband, Lenox and I have two daughters, Gabrielle (9) and London (7) as well as a new addition to our family, Marley – a very busy Yorkshire Terrier.

I believe that every day as a school counselor is an adventure and I look forward to embarking on this journey with the students and families of ELMS.  Please let me know if I can assist you or your child in any way!
