Hi! I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I have been in education now for 8 years and have enjoyed every moment. I have one daughter who also attends Bethlehem Elementary. My passions include reading, singing, and writing. Since I was young, I've always dreamt of inspiring youth. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. I then continued my education earning my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Family and Children Services from Ashford University. As I continued my career within education, leadership became an interest. So, I went back to school at Columbus State University and earned my Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.
Thus far in my educational journey, I've taught all grade levels (Pre-k through 5th) while serving as a homeroom teacher, EIP teacher, and Literacy Coach. Being able to teach and learn on a daily basis in various roles has helped me to continuously fulfill my dream of inspiring youth and being able to give all students an equal educational experience.
The youth of today are our adults of the future. It is our duty to help grow the brilliance inside of them and impart in them wisdom that will help them to become the successful human beings that they are destined to be.
