My name is Ms. Stocks and I am in my 25th year of educating Georgia students. During my career as an educator I have served in the capacity of 8th grade Math Teacher, District Level Trainer for Elementary Math, Instructional Graduation Coach for middle school, and Instructional Lead Teacher for high school. This is my second year of teaching at Eagles Landing Middle and I am looking forward to another great year of encouraging “Eagles” to fly high in math!
My decision to go into education stemmed from my involvement in my own children’s education. I served as “Class Mom” and member of the PTA for all four of my children at some point in their education. This led me to become a Substitute Teacher, going on to become a Paraprofessional, and on to become a Certified Teacher. I loved teaching and working with children so much that I went back to school and completed my Masters of Educational Leadership at Columbus State University and my Specialist in Educational Leadership at Georgia College and State University.
This school year I am excited about getting my “students” excited about math and encouraging each student to have a passion to become a life-long learner!
