    • Track practice for this afternoon (Friday, May 3, 2019) has been canceled. Coach Stokes will send out information this afternoon about tomorrow’s (5/4/19) sectional track meet. 

     

    • Track practice for this afternoon (Friday, April 19, 2019) has been canceled. Coach Stokes will send out information later tonight about tomorrow’s (4/20/19) track meet at Union Grove (Region Tune-Up). 

     

    • Track practice has been canceled for today (Thursday, March 21, 2019) due to open house. Please plan to ride the bus home or contact one of your parents so that they can pick you up from school. Please make good use of your time by focusing on your classwork and resting your body. This message was also sent through the afternoon announcements, by email, and the remind app.

     
    •  Practice for today has been canceled (Thursday, February 28, 2019). Please use this time off to focus on school work. Practice will resume tomorrow (Friday, March 1, 2019).

     

    • Athletes please use the following form to sign-up for the events that you would like to participate in on the Saturday, February 9 track and field meet.  Click here

     

    • WHS track and field athletes please don't forget to complete the questionnaire form. Look on the left of this webpage and click on the last link at the bottom.  2019 Questionnaire Form

     

    • There are a few shoe stores that focus on running shoes in Henry County.  Please remember that running shoes should be replaced every 200 - 300 miles.

    • Don't forget some days it will be pretty cold outside.  Always remember to pack the right type of clothes for practice (including gloves and a beanie hat). Dress in layers, you can always remove layers as your body warms up.  

     

    • All athletic forms and your physical must be signed, completed, and turned in before you can participate in any athletic activities.
