• McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, Title VII, Part B

    This is a federal law that ensures immediate enrollment and educational stability for homeless children and youth (EHCY).  Homeless children are defined as “individuals” who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence.   This federal law ensures immediate enrollment and educational stability for homeless children and youth.  For information as to whether or not your student qualifies for McKinney-Vento protections, please visit the McKinney-Vento brochure below.  Also included below are procedures and forms to be utilized when disputing a McKinney Vento decision made regarding a student.
