I am a native of Pittsburgh, PA, but Georgia has been home for 30 years.  I have two amazing daughters who graduated from Dutchtown High School, Clayton State University, and are now career women!  I began my teaching career in Atlanta Public Schools, where I taught English, and later worked in several other metro Atlanta school districts before earning my Counseling Degree from Columbus State University.  I recently earned my Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.  I've worked in Henry County Schools for 16 years at two schools (Dutchtown Elementary & Austin Road Middle).  I believe as an educator, my role is to love students, encourage them to be true to themselves and to find their purpose!  I love to travel, sports, write and on my bucket list is the plan to skydive!!!!  I completed my first manuscript in 2015, which supports my role as a Counselor by encouraging families, despite the dynamics, to work together in the best interest of their children.
I look forward to working with your family this school year!!!
