My name is Amanda Rutledge and this is my second year at Cotton Indian Elementary. I absolutely adore teaching and I couldn't see myself doing anything else. I believe that every student brings individual strengths into the classroom and I can't wait to discover each of my students unique talents!
I have lived in Henry County most of my life and I graduated from Henry County High School. I am a graduate of Gordon State College with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. Besides a degree in education, I have an Associates of Art degree in Fashion Design.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two teenagers! I am blessed to be married to my best friend, Adam. Cameron is going into the 11th grade and Caige is going into the 9th grade. As a family we love to travel and play board games.
One of my favorite habits is to "SHARPEN THE SAW". I sharpen the saw by crafting, traveling, cooking, and reading. Traveling is my passion and it is my dream to visit all 50 states! I collect globes and I love quotes. Another passion of mine is cooking and trying new recipes, but I hate doing the dishes!
