Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Pamela Woods
I was born in New York City. After volunteering to tutor young students when I was in middle school; I decided there would be no better path than to teach children for the rest of my adult years. I earned my batchelors degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Soon after, I visited a friend in Georgia and I loved it so much I decided to move here. I currently live in McDonough with my husband, our 13 and 10 year old boys, and our cat Lady.
While gaining experience as a teacher, I earned my masters degree at Georgia State University. Throughougt my sixteen year teaching career, I've spent lots of time teaching kindergarten through third grades, and even some time teaching fifth grade. This is a special year of firsts for me. It is my first year teaching at Pleasant Grove and my first year teaching fourth grade. I love the fourth grade curriculum and age group. Pleasant Grove seems like a great place to be a student, parent, and educator; so I am positive this will be a great year for us all!
