• Meet Ms. Thompson

I am the Teacher in your child's classroom.   I am so excited to be a part of the lives of your precious children and yourselves.    I look forward to getting to know your child and your family.  Teaching is my passion; I strive to create a nurturing, safe and secure environment where every student can explore, master content and grow socially, emotionally as well as academically.

I have lived in Peachtree City for nine years.  I have three beautiful children. I grew up in Marietta, Georgia.  I went to Osborne High School – the same high school my parents and my grandparents attended.  I graduated in the top 10% of my class with Honors.   I have a Bachelors in Business Management from the University of West Georgia and am a member of Alpha Beta Gamma Honors Fraternity.  I completed Griffin RESA TAPP in one year; I recently completed a Reading, Writing and Cross Curriculum Literacy course with a final grade of Exemplary.

I love learning and I adore helping children explore and soak up information.  I believe in the intellectual potential of our “small people.”  I managed, developed and trained in Corporate America for over ten years.  I have been teaching and training children since I was 16.  I have taught Sunday School for four years and I taught GA Pre-K for two years.

The early years of a child’s life are the most crucial to developing a sense of wonder, curiosity towards learning and self-confidence.  Thank you so much for the blessing and privilege to be a part of fostering that desire in your sweet children.

I encourage strong, honest, open communication; feel free to contact me: heather.thompson@henry.k12.ga.us.  Thank you.
