    Personalized Learning

    A learning experience that is designed for a student’s academic needs, learning styles, and interests

    Problem Based Learning

    Using a real world experience or problem to collaboratively research and show mastery of skills

    Inquiry Based Learning

    Similar to PBL, but encourages a variety of research based on self interest

    Path

    A direction or style in which a student learns material- digital, independent,partner, teacher led, etc

    Pace

    The speed in which a student moves through material

    Flexible Seating

    Alternative seating, tables, and floor spaces for students to use

    Prescriptions

    A series of tasks and activities that are “prescribed” based on data from assessments and learning style, as well as student choice *used in 1st-5th

    “Must Do and May Do” - a collection of tasks and activities selected based on data from assessments and learning style *used in K-1st

    WIN Time

    “What I Need”- a collection of tasks and activities selected based on data from assessments and learning style *used in K-3rd

    Class Meeting/ Second Step

    The first segment of the day that provides opportunities for collaboration, reflection, and guidance in Social Emotional Learning and how to build and maintain a positive learning community

    Club Day

    Student selected clubs facilitated by teachers passionate about the topics, held every other Friday at 1:30
