Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Ryan Sanders
I have been at Fairview since 2016, and I am ready to dive in and create musical moments that students and parents will remember forever. With several opportunities for students to create music, my aim is to have each and every student be able to read music, play instruments, and use these skills throughout every class they may take.
I graduated from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA. I live in Covington with my beautiful wife, Katie, and crazy cat, Pepper. I have been involved with music for my entire life, and started to play piano when I was in the 3rd grade. When I went to middle school, I joined the band in the percussion section. I continued with the band all the way through middle school, high school, and college, and continue to play with an adult community band to this day. In high school and college, I was an active member of the drumline, playing multiple different instruments. I have also sung in various church choirs, and learned to play every instrument while in college.
Music is my passion, and my goal here at Fairview is to ignite that same passion in every student.
Now this school year is going to be quite different, but I will still do my best to provide an egaging music education for each students. We will be using the program called Quaver Music to help with this engaging experience, allowing for interactive assignments, assessments, and even some real-world music experiences! It is going to be a learning experience for everyone, but it should be a fun journey!
