I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After high school, I attended The University of Toledo and graduated with a BE in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies. I then completed my master's degree from Troy University and earned my Gifted Education endorsement as well. After teaching for three years in Ohio, my husband was transferred to Georgia in the fall of 2005. For the remainder of that school year and next, I taught at Union Grove Middle School. I then spent seven years at Woodland Middle School. I am truly excited to begin my 7th year at Ola and my 19th year in education. My husband and I have two daughters, Rosemary a Junior at UGHS, and Madeline who is in the 5th grade.
