Neuroscience at TRE
We were lucky enough to have a visit from a neuroscience student at Emory University. Ms. Kristi told us all about our SensoriMotor system and how much we need it. Ms. Kristi showed us the importance of using our sight along with our hands in order to play high-five with a partner. With the use of special goggles, students found out how difficult it is when one sense isn't working properly. Ms. Kristi also gave us an opportunity to touch a human brain as we learned about the different parts of it. Students were very surprised to learn that brains aren't really pink!
