The Purchasing Department is aligned to the Core Beliefs and Commitments established by the Henry County Board of Education. To ensure students have access to materials and services for learning, Purchasing shall:
· Facilitate purchases that are in the best interest of Henry County Schools;
· Serve as stewards and support transparency in use of public funds;
· Protect against conflict of interest;
· Support the maximization of competition;
· Ensure equal and fair competition; and
· Remain in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
