• Hello, my name is Robin Wilson. I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to serve the students, teachers, citizens, and leaders of Henry County as the English Language Arts Coordinator!

I have a variety of experience over  15+ years in the field; including elementary, secondary, and work in the field of instructional technology. It is my belief that the variety of my experience is an asset as the collaborative work in literacy moves forward.

I have worked in several capacities throughout my career. I have several years of elementary classroom and leadership liaison experience in Alabama. After our family moved to Georgia, I continued in the elementary classroom and worked closely with the leadership of several schools to plan for engaging and differentiated instruction. From the elementary classroom, I moved  to a position with Instructional Technology and began my collaborative leadership work with teachers. This work sparked a passion that I still have today!

I was fortunate to gain secondary experience in Instructional Technology and later transitioned to the classroom. After entering the classroom, my collaborative work continued and I had several opportunities to facilitate learning sessions with teachers. I have held positions on leadership, curriculum, literacy, and personalized learning teams throughout my tenure in education. I have also had opportunities to lead professional development at both the school and district levels.

I am originally from Alabama, but have lived in Georgia since 2002. I have been married for 25+ years and we have three grown children, all of whom are products of Henry County Schools.  We have embraced Henry County as our home and I am thrilled to be working in a capacity to support the education of the children here. My goal is to lead collaboratively to grow literacy throughout Henry County Schools as we continue to ensure success for each student in our care.
