• Welcome to my web page. My name is Lisa Malcom. I teach 3rd through 5th grade students with intellectual disabilities. This is my 10th year at Flippen Elementary and my 34th year in education.
My education includes an Associate's degree in Music from Clayton Jr. College (now Clayton State) in 1985, and a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Shorter College in 1987. In 1990, I added my Master’s degree in Middle Grades Education and in 1998, I added certification in Special Education.  Currently, I am at the Specialist in Education level. As you can see from my educational background, I enjoy learning as much as I do teaching!
During my career, I have taught 5th grade and special education. I also have a love for music and have tried to incorporate that into my classroom as much as possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.  I can be reached at 770-954-3522 or by email at lmalcom@henry.k12.ga.us.
I look forward to another wonderful school year here at Flippen Elementary!
