A Look Inside inside the Classroom

  • Each teacher has a choice of four different stations to implement during their math block. They may choose three or four stations depending on their students' needs. The stations are teacher-led, technology, collaboration, and independent. Some classrooms use an additional teacher-led station instead of the independent station. Students rotate through the stations in order to engage in the learning that best fits their ability levels. The following diagram represents our station rotation model.
The following video is a snapshot of how we are starting with our station rotation model in the classrooms.  This is only the beginning...
What do the stations look like, sound like and feel like?
