Following the report of an inappropriate item at McDonough High School, we worked with law enforcement to initiate a thorough investigation that concluded there was no active threat to the campus.

MHS was placed on a hard lockdown during the investigation and later moved to a soft lockdown with a managed dismissal process. Additional law enforcement presence will remain on campus as a precaution.
