Subjects I Teach: 6th Grade Social Studies - Team 603
Welcome to your first year of middle school! Although we are beginning the year in a new way, we will get to know each other. I know we can all keep a positive attitude and have fun learning together. Until I get to meet you face-to-face, let's make this a great start to 6th grade! I'm excited to have you!!!
I have taught everything from kindergarten through 6th grade in the past and love the middle school setting and students!
I am a United States Navy veteran and served 7 years as an electronics technician there. I am married, with two children. My daughter is in the nursing program at ABAC and my son is a Henry County firefighter. I love animals and my family stays busy taking care of our potbelly pig, cats, dog, and horses! Jekyll Island is my favorite place to visit and we take our camper there as often as possible. I make pet beds and pillows in my off time and also volunteer at the Butts County Animal Shelter. I love camping, fishing, riding my horse, and pretty much anything outdoors.
I look forward to working with all of my students this year!
