     Beatrice Holmes 

    Math Instructional Lead Teacher

           I am so pleased to be the Math Instructional Lead Teacher for Stockbridge Elementary!  I have been a paraprofessional for 9 years and a certified teacher for 14 years.  I earned my undergraduate and graduate degree from Mercer University.  I am a District-Level Math Trainer for the GloSS/IKAN assessments, and have endorsements in both reading, math, and Culturally Proficient Coaching.

           In 2005 and 2011 I was honored to be chosen as Teacher of the Year for Smith Elementary in Clayton County.  I was also the 2013 Teacher of the Year for Red Oak Elementary. I have been married for 34 years, have 3 daughters, and one grandson. 

          Math is everywhere and in everything we do.  My goal is to be a resource for students, teachers, and parents as we all grow to become more proficient and efficient in math. Please visit my page on the SES website for strategies, videos, websites, and more!
