    Welcome Parents and Students!
     
    I am committed to making Accelerated Math 6/7A , 6th Grade Mathematics and Social Studies both exciting and challenging. I have devoted more than 25 years to educating and teaching children- our most valuable resource! Fifteen of these years have been at Austin Road Middle. Home of the Mighty Jaguars!
     
    I believe connectivity between teachers, parents and students is extremely important. It is our responsibility to work cohesively to develop successful, and lifelong learners.
     
    I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama and my Master's Degree (MPA) from Auburn University at Montgomery. My teacher's certification was acquired from Clark-Atlanta University. I received my gifted certification with Henry County Schools in 2016. I am the Head  Football & Basketball Cheerleader Coach at Woodland High School.
     
    I like spending time with my family. I have been married for twenty-two years. I am the proud mother of four beautiful daughters and one grandson. I enjoy attending church, listening to music, and traveling. One of my most favorable past-time events is watching Alabama Crimson Tide football (Roll Tide Roll)!
     
    I am a life time member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
