Welcome to Ms. Bothwell-Williams and Mrs. Stephens Classroom

                                                      Where imagination creates adventurous LEADERS…

My name is Anita Bothwell-Williams and I am the mother of two beautiful daughters Peyton and Tayla.  I am the proud “NiNi” to Kyla who is 4 years old and Nyla who is 1 year old.  They are the very breath I breathe! In my leisure time, I enjoy meditating, jogging, singing, hiking, going to the mountains, trying new foods, and spending time with my loved ones. I absolutely love watching the 1960's show Andy Griffith, Murder She Wrote 1984, Golden Girls 1985, and Law and Order Criminal Intent 2001, to wind down from the day. I am so excited to be your child K-2 teacher and super thrilled to help and watch your child grow. I am grateful to have this opportunity to teach your leaders!

I have worked for the Henry County Schools System for 18 years as a special education teacher and paraeducator in various areas. This will be my fourth year serving as the K-2 Autism Teacher.  I am honored to serve your adventurous leaders this school year!  I obtain my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ashford University, my Associate’s in Biblical Education from Beulah Heights University, a certificate in Accounting, Respite care provider status, and MindSet certification. I will be pursuing my Master’s of Science in Educational Studies with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis with a (Bcba) certification. I am very excited about entering this program, as it will prepare me for the next phase of my career, to lead positive change for many children and families, as well as individuals coping with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other behavioral disorders which may be challenging for a child.

As we move into the new school year, please know that I am always available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your child’s education.  Mrs. Stephen and I are here to ensure your child will get the support and resources to be successful this year!
