Welcome to Eagles Landing Middle School for the 2019-2020 School Year!

I am very excited to be working with ELMS along with getting to meet each and every one of you!

Let's start this school year off strong and proud! GO EAGLES!

My classroom is on the 6th Grade Hall (first hall on the right when you take a left out of the front lobby) and my classroom Number is #715 (last door on the left).

    About the class:

6th Grade Language Arts in Georgia consist of teaching about figurative language, summarizing ideas/main ideas, mastering plot/plot structure, grammar, and writing practice: Argumentative,

Narrative, and Explanatory.  Throughout the year, we shall be learning about these various aspects of writing through engaging activites, reading articles, watching videos, lectures, etc.

I understand that every child learns in their own way requiring different forms of instruction therefore I try to differentiate my instruction to the best of my ability.

School is meant for learning but if you aren't having fun and engaging with the lesson, are you really learning?

I integrate that ideology into my lessons therefore hopefully making them engaging and relevant to my students.

If you have any other questions about the class, please feel free to ask!
