I graduated from Jonesboro High School and then moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to receive my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education. I moved back home and began teaching. I graduated from Troy University in 2005 where I received my Master's Degree. I'm also AP certified in Statistics as well as Gifted Certified.I've been married for 17 years to my husband, John, and we have a beautiful, 13 year old daughter named Piper . I have been teaching for 23 years. All in Henry County. This will be my 24th year. My hobbies include running/walking, racing in local 5K and 10K events, watching and attending UGA football games (my husband's Alma Mater) and reading. I also sing in my church choir as an alto. I love to travel! I've been to 17 countries, 26 states, and 9 National Parks. My goal is to visit as many National Parks as possible. Over the summer, we spent a week in Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. This year I will be teaching Honors PreCalculus.
