Welcome back!! I am so excited to have you in Geometry class this year! Examples of Geometry are everywhere and I hope to help you develop a true appreciation for this amazing subject. Remember I am here to support you in this endeavor.
I began my teaching career in 1992 in South Carolina. Over the years, I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Algebra III/ Pre-Calculus, and Geometry.I have been teaching at Ola High School since 2006. I received my Master of Education degree from the University of South Carolina and am a gifted certified teacher. In addition to teaching Geometry all day, I co-sponsor the OHS National Honor Society with Mr. Head, another OHS math teacher.
In my time away from school, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 24 years and my two children. (a son who attends Mercer University and a daughter at OHS- you will hear all about them throughout the year). I enjoy watching college football (Go Gamecocks!) and Atlanta United soccer, walking, watching my kids' activities, reading, and playing with my dog, Gage.
