    Hello Austin Road Middle School scholars and parents!  I am Mrs. Mixon and I am delighted to be your PE teacher for this school year.  I am a native of Liberty County, Georgia and a graduate of Liberty County High School.  I received my Bachelors Degree in Health / Physical Education from Valdosta State University, my Masters Degree in Sport Business from Saint Leo University and my Education Specialist degree in Coaching Pedagogy also from Valdosta State University.  I am certified to teach in my content area for grades PreK-12.  My first year of teaching was 2001 and I've enjoyed every year since. I'm looking forward another great year.
