Congressman Announces Service Academy Day for Students
Congressman Jody Hice will host his annual Service Academy Day on Saturday, September 3rd from 3-5pm on the campus of Georgia Military College. Mrs. Connelly was recognized by Georgia Lottery as Teacher of the Month for being the Most Positive Special Needs Coach for her continuous and tireless dedication to her "Gladiator" special needs football and cheer program.
UGHS student Alexis O’Neal participated in the International competition for HOSA (Future Health Professionals) in Tennessee. She won first place in her division with her writing beating over 300 other students. She was awarded the first place medal by the National HOSA Executive Council.
UGHS made the Washington Post Most Challenging High School list again this year!
UGHS recognized as a 2015 AP Merit, AP Honor, AP STEM and AP STEM Achievement School.
The SkillsUSA chapter at Union Grove High School was recently named among the top 24 SkillsUSA chapters nationally as a “Model of Excellence” recipient.
Congratulations to Ms. Angie Keiser, UGHS Healthcare Science teacher for achieving state recognition. According to the Georgia Department of Education, when a program becomes industry certified, it receives a “stamp of excellence” which represents the apex of program quality.
