  • Instructional focus (IF) is an initiative within Locust Grove High School which creates a time period each week for added student support. The IF will incorporate many different areas of focus to provide additional support for our students and help meet students' needs. Students will use IF to catch up on homework, work on projects and get extra help in their classes. Our students will now have more opportunities for extra help in select courses and areas of concern or interest. There will be no extra work involved, but students can get help from a teacher for a specific class. We are optimistic about this program; the point is to meet the needs of the students. Students will go to IF every Wednesday beginning in September. In October students will go to IF 2 days per week for nine weeks after which they can request a different class.
