Henry County 4-H 5th and 6th graders competed at District Project Achievement Saturday, February 16, at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center. The Rock Eagle campus covers almost 1,500 acres making it the largest 4-H Center in the world. Twenty elementary schools and six middle schools from Henry County were represented.
Henry County had 88 4-H’ers compete this year. We had the most 1st place winners of the competition receiving 35 first place ribbons, 21 second place, and 15 third place winners. There were 64 categories of competition ranging from Air Science, Computers, History, Ocean Ecology and Wildlife.
