MISSION

 

The mission of Stockbridge Elementary is to ensure that all children achieve their maximum potential, academically as well as socially. 

 

MEASURABLE GOALS for 2011-2012

 

English Language Arts (ELA)/Writing: 

1.   There will be a 2% gain (96% to 98%) in the number of students who move from the meets to exceeds category on the Spring 2012 ELA CRCT administration.

2.    100% of third grade students will show progress in the areas of ideas and conventions on mock writing assessments using the County assigned writing rubric and/or score in at the meets or exceeds expectations category.

 Math:

1.   There will be a 2% increase in the number of students scoring meets/exceeds on the Mathematics portion of the CRCT from 88% to 90%.

2.   Students with disabilities will increase their scores on the Mathematics portion of the CRCT by 2% from 77% to 79%. 

Georgia Assessment of Performance on School Standards:

100% of all certified instructional staff at SES will participate in a minimum of 30 hours of professional learning related to Curriculum, Assessment, and/or Instruction.
