Keep Math Active

The Office of Mathematics is offering a free blended learning summer program to upcoming middle school students
entitled Keep Math Active! This active learning experience is designed to provide students one of two outcomes

● High quality instruction to bridge any documented gaps so students will be better prepared for the upcoming
school year
● Math enrichment by participating in active summer math experiences that will keep students learning math all
year long.

It is organized to be a blended learning opportunity, engaging students in face to face and online learning. Face to face
instruction will take place twice a week from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Although the face-to-face program is 2 days a week,
students will be expected to work online the other days during the week through a variety of online formats off campus.
Therefore, students will need access to a technology device (laptops, iPads, tablets, etc.) with internet connection.
