New Student Registration
An appointment must be scheduled for new student registration/enrollment. Please call (770) 898-9822 and ask for a counseling secretary to schedule an appointment. The following items must be presented at the time of your registration appointment or the registration appointment will not be honored:
Three proofs of residency (One proof of residency must be a rental contract, lease agreement, property tax notice or settlement statement. The other two proofs of residency can be different utility bills - gas, water, sewer, electric, or cable. A cellular or residential phone bill is not an acceptable proof. The same name must be on the rental/property ownership information that is on the utility bills. Otherwise, a marriage license must be presented to establish the relationship between the different parties.
Special Note: If a parent/guardian resides in a home that is owned or leased by another person, or is unable for some other reason to provide acceptable proof of residence, an Affidavit of Residency must be obtained from the Student Services office in McDonough before the scheduled registration appointment. Copy of social security card
Current immunization records on Georgia form
Withdrawal form from previous school
High school transcript must be provided for rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students
Middle school records/final report card indicating promotion to 9th grade
Discipline record from previous school
Attendance records from previous school
Legal guardianship papers must be presented if not the biological parent
*Please note that a notarized statement assigning guardianship to another individual is not acceptable documentation for legal guardianship. Legal guardianship must be assigned through a court such as probate, family, or superior.

*When scheduling enrollment appointments, please advise the secretaries of special education needs for your child as the appointment needs to be scheduled with the Special Education Department Chair.
