The purpose of parental involvement under Title I is to promote active engagement between school administrators, teachers, and parents. The parent involvement coordinator and paraprofessional's goal is to empower parents by providing them with the proper tools such as, workshops, various resources, and a lot of encouragement which in turn will improve student achievement and learning.
