Wesley Lakes is committed to the belief that we will

2010-2011 Goals
 
Mathematics:
      All students will increase their achievement in Mathematics on the CRCT in grades 3-5
      from 74.5% meeting and exceeding standards at the end of SY2010 to 82% meeting and
      exceeding at the end of SY 2011. Targeted subgroups (those not over 81% M/E but
      meeting the AMO for 2009-2010) are Black, Hispanic, White, and Economically
      Disadvantaged students.
 
      The percentage of students with disabilities scoring in Level I in Mathematics on the
      CRCT in grades 3-5 will decrease from 65.3% at the end of SY 2010 to at least 58% at
      the end of SY 2011.

Reading/English-Language Arts:
      Students in all sub-groups will increase their achievement in Reading and ELA on the
      CRCT in grades 3-5 from 22.6% exceeding standards at the end of SY 2010 to 30%
      exceeding standards at the end of SY 2011.

      All students will increase their achievement in Reading and ELA on the CRCT in grades
      3-5 from 91.2% meeting and exceeding standards at the end of SY 2010 to 96.0% meeting
      and exceeding at the end of SY 2011.

      The percentage of students with disabilities scoring in Level 1 in Reading and ELA on
      the CRCT in grades 3-5 will decrease from 36.7% at the end of SY 2010 to at least 27% at
      the end of SY 2011. SWD is a targeted subgroup (did not score over 85% M/E but met
      AMO for 2009-2010).

Safe and Orderly Schools:
      School Report Card will indicate 90-100% of staff, students, and parents are satisfied that
      their school is safe and that they can get adult assistance if they feel unsafe.
 
Use of Technology to Support Instruction:
      School Report Card will indicate 90-100% of staff, students, and parents are satisfied that
      the school offers a variety of instructional methods (via technology) to make subjects
      interesting and that student technology skills are improving at the school.
