No Audition Required
When: Rehearsals on Mondays 2:30 to 3:30pm beginning after Fall Break
Where: Music Room
Purpose: To provide students with an opportunity to participate in a performing ensemble, and to receive additional music enrichment apart from the general music classroom.

Eligibility: Open to 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Students
Two representatives from each class selected by their peers
When: Every other Tuesday, beginning 2nd grading period
Where: Ms. Truong’s class, room 206
Meetings are conducted by the elected officers consisting of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Two Representatives for each grade level.
The Pageturners Book Discussion Group
Sponsor: Clare Johnson, Dr. Rosiland Sherrill
Eligibility: Open to 4th and 5th Grade Students
When: Every other Wednesday morning from 7:15 – 7:55 in October, November, January, and February
Where:
Purpose: The Pageturners Book discussion group will meet to read and discuss popular books. Light breakfast refreshments are served to be enjoyed during the discussion group.

Eligibility: 5th Grade students with a B average and above.
When: Every other Monday beginning the 2nd grading period

Purpose: The Beta Club will promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. It will reward meritorious achievement, and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.

Eligibility: 4th & 5th grade students with a love for reading. These students should also have the desire to participate in friendly competition and debate.

Where: Gym
Purpose: It is the mission of the Track Club at
Ø Students will learn appropriate warm-up techniques.
Ø Students will participate in a variety of training activities.
Ø Students will learn strategies for improving their running and jumping skills.
Ø Students will be encouraged to practice or run on their own (outside of the School experience).
Ø Students will participate in individual as well as group track activities.
Ø Students will have the opportunity to participate in an optional Track Meet.
Ø Event with another local elementary school toward the end of the year.
