I. Academic Achievement
· 9 consecutive years of meeting Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)
· 2012 GAPSS Review : Ratings of 54 operational , 24 fully operational , 8 emergent, 0 Not evident
· Implementation of the blended block schedule
· SIEP and Morning Math to extend the learning time in the area of math
· Lighthouse Awards program for classes that exceed expectations on Common Formative Assessments (Gifted and advanced Students - 90%; Regular Education Students - 80%; Students with Disabilities- 70%)
· 7th grade students traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to tour The 16th Street Baptist Church where they met and interviewed Ms. Carolyn McKinstry. She is the author of While the World Watched. The students read this book before the field trip.
· Increased teacher participation in Professional Learning opportunities
· Project based learning projects- Movie Maker 2013, PEACE projects 2012
· 3rd place county winner – 7th grade Literacy Days Competition
· Participation in Science Fair, Social Studies Fair, Literacy Days, Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl
· Recipient of over $150,000 in Grants awarded this year including Snapping Shoals Grant (5 Kindle Fires), Math Innovation Grant (25 ipads, cart, and training), Echolab Grant (media center books)

II. Technology Initiative
· Implementation of a school wide BYOT (Bring your own Technology ) policy
· Two presenters at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference Fall 2012
· Two presenters at the Henry County technology Conference Summer 2012
· A presenter at the Griffin RESA Technology Conference January 2013
· Received the Snapping Shoals Grant to which helped to purchase 5 Kindle Fire (e-readers)
· Winner of the Henry county Math Innovative Grant for i2ARMS (Individual, innovative and rigorous math school) which included 25 iPads for student use in a 6th grade math class.
· Implementation of Point for assessment and data purposes
· Use of Collaborize Classroom for blended faculty professional learning
· School wide movie maker project and school entry into the Georgia Movie Academy Awards 2013
III. Parent and Community Support
· Hosted Fairview Elementary and Austin Road Middle School Nights
· Participated in the Stockbridge High School Homecoming parade
· Partners In Education (PIE)
· Volunteer participation: Men of ARMS days, Math volunteers
· Six parent learning opportunities offered including Parent Math Night, BYOT Parent night, and Organization Skills.
· Community use of facilities by Recreational sports programs
· Increased PTO and community support as evidence in attendance at PTO meetings
