2. What are the requirements for admission to the SCTC dual enrollment program?
You must be a junior or a senior; be at least 16 years old; have a 2.0 high school GPA; and exceed minimum test score requirements on the SAT, ACT, or COMPASS exams.
3. How do I decide if dual enrollment is for me?
The decision to participate in any dual enrollment program is different for each student. You need to sit down with your parent(s)/guardian and have meaningful conversations about your education and career goals and decide if participating in the program will help meet those goals. You should also contact any college that you may be interested in attending afer graduating from high school so that you can verify that the institution will accept dual enrollment credits. Finally, you should sit down with your academic advisor and/or the High School Coordinator to map out your courses and complete the necessary application process.
