Meet the Counselor- Ms.Leah Kendrick
Hello. My name is Leah Kendrick and this is my 3rd year working in Henry County. I am originally from Central New York, but my family moved to Georgia when I was 15 years old. I currently live in Griffin, GA. While growing up, I always knew that I wanted to work with children. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. I also have a Masters of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of West Georgia.
Like other counselors, I support several events throughout the school year such as Red Ribbon Week, Career Day, CCRPI Career Cluster Lessons, World Kindness Day, Classroom Guidance, Student of the Month and numerous other activities.
It is an honor to be the counselor at Woodland Elementary School! I look forward to the new and exciting times with our students, parents and staff.
If you have any questions or if I can assist you in any way please feel free to call or send an email.
Leah Kendrick, M.Ed
