Cross-Country at Luella High School has the slogan,

 

 

It is the most democratic sport on the high school level.  One does not have to be extremely fast, strong, big, or skillfull.  It is the sport for the "average" person.

 

Our program has been a consistent state meet qualifier and has had numerous individual region champions.  We have had student-athletes scholarship to the college level.

 

We feel that distance running is the sport for a lifetime and the program is modeled as such.
