Students that attended the Academic carnival had loads of fun!  To qualify the student had to reach their AR or First in Math goals.


SES students participated in our schoolwide science fair.


SES recognized our wonderful volunteers and those parents that completed the "PASS" program with a delicious breakfast and gift. 


SES had a Mother and Son Masqurade Ball; there was fun had by all!


SES hosted the Math Bowl for 3 -5 graders in our cluster of schools.  Austin Road Elementary, Smith-Barnes Elementary, Stockbridge Elementary, Cotton Indian Elementary, and Fairview Elementar students attended the competition.

This year, SES “relayed” in memory of Terri Gaines at Henry County’s Relay for Life.  It was an awesome night.  SES raised over $4,700 for the American Cancer Society.


Mr. Young, our Counselor had a terrific Career Day for the SES students.


SES had an April PTSO meeting; Second Grade performed for everyone.  They did an excellent job!


SES staff and students showed their performing skills at the annual Talent Show on April 12, 2013.

STELM

STELM Night was a great success! About 100+ people came to learn about Science, Technology, Literacy, and Math.  Everyone had fun!


February 8th SES had a Father & Daughter Dance.  The girls were beautiful and looked like princesses and they were escorted by their handsome Prince Charming!


SES celebrated Read Across America by having Ms. Singleton guest read to  our students Dr. Seuss books and we had a book character parade!


SES students and staff presented a fabulous Black History Program
on Feb. 27, 2013.



On January 29, 2013 Mrs. Deal, The First Lady of Georgia visited SES and shared her love of reading to our kindergartners.




SES has celebrates our students' accomplishments by having the SES Showcase program on January 18th.



SES Kindergarten Classes performed a Holiday play at the December PTSO meeting.  Kudos to our students and teachers for doing a terrific job!



SES students had a great time at our Jingle Jam with dancing, food and games.




SES had a great evening family meal to celebrate Thanksgiving and our families.  The meal was delicious, the program was exciting and the fellowship was wonderful!



SES cheers on our military veterans at the Stockbridge Parade.  SES also provided a delicious breakfast for veterans that are relatives of our SES family.



Our students at SES celebrated Poetry Literacy Days in October.



Mr. Young, our counselor planned many fun "Red Ribbon Week" activities for our school!



Our First Grade presented their version of "The Wizard Of Oz" after reading it in class at the PTSO meeting on Oct. 25th!

SES class decorated a pumpkin as a book character to auction at the October PTSO Program!




SES has their own Student Achievement Showcase Awards Program for the first nine weeks of school.





SES Celebrates Lights on Afterschool Oct. 18, 2012



SES had a fabulous Literacy Night Sept. 13th.  SES families had fun reading while cooking, playing games, and creating science projects.


Many parents attended our SES Curriculum Night on August 23rd.  Each teacher shared with the parents all of the exciting learning that will happen at our school this year. 



SES had a superb first day of school!  SES rocks!



 SES had a successful Open House Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012.
