About Me: 
My name is Winnie DuRant and I've been in education a total of 8 years.  I'm originally from Hopkins, S.C. and I moved to Georgia in 2003.  I've taught 4th grade for 2 years at Smith-Barnes Elementary and I've taught 5th grade for 5 years.  This is my second year as the SAGE teacher between SES and SBE.  I've received my Bachelor's degree from USC-Spartanburg, and Master's degree from Troy University.  I'm in my final year of my Phd program at Mercer University.  I have a beautiful daugher in Kindergarten.  My hobbies include: shopping, bowling, reading, etc.....I consider myself the jack-of-all-trades!  I look forward to having a productive school year with my SAGE students.
